About this course

Support is where AI help is most tempting and most dangerous: replies reach customers directly, in your company's name. AI for Customer Support teaches the difference between the two. The workflow module rebuilds the four routines that fill a support day - drafting replies that are fast, accurate, and human; summarising tickets for smooth handovers; turning solved tickets into knowledge-base articles; and handling tone, QA, and genuinely difficult conversations.

The standing rule throughout: AI drafts, a human sends. Every workflow includes the verification step that keeps a hallucinated policy or a tone-deaf reply from ever reaching a customer.

The second module maps the helpdesk landscape - the AI inside Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk, Help Scout, and Gorgias - and takes a clear-eyed look at bots and deflection: where self-service genuinely helps customers and where it just hides your queue. It closes with the agents that can triage spikes and draft at scale while your team keeps the send button.

Who it's for: Support agents, team leads, QA reviewers, and support managers. Assumes AI Foundations; no technical background needed.

Frequently asked questions

Will customers end up talking to a bot?

Not because of this course. The workflows here are agent-side: AI drafts, summarises, and suggests while a human reviews and sends every customer-facing reply. The deflection lesson deals directly with where automated answers help customers and where they damage trust.

How do we stop AI from inventing policies in replies?

By grounding and verifying: replies are drafted from your actual macros, policy pages, and the ticket itself, and every workflow ends with a fact-check step for names, numbers, promises, and policy claims before anything sends. It is the course's most drilled habit.

Which helpdesk platforms does it cover?

The AI inside Zendesk and Intercom Fin in depth, plus Freshdesk, Help Scout, and Gorgias - taught as a fair category comparison focused on what these tools are good at, so the lessons hold as the products evolve.

We measure everything - what does this do to our metrics?

The lessons carry hours-saved estimates (reply drafting alone is worth around 4 hours per agent per month) and the workflows target first-response time, handover quality, and repeat-ticket deflection. Your admin dashboard rolls the estimates up across the team.

Is there an exam or certificate?

Yes. Both modules end with an exam (70% to pass), and completion feeds the certificate and the training records your admin sees.
