About this course

Most teams are already using AI - unevenly, unofficially, and without a shared understanding of what it actually is. AI Foundations fixes that. It gives everyone in your organisation the same plain-language mental model: what AI is (and what it isn't), the three types of AI you will meet at work, and where the real limits are behind the hype.

Every lesson is interactive: short reads, visual explainers, hands-on checks, and a quiz that confirms the idea stuck. An AI tutor sits on every page, ready to answer questions in the context of your business and your role.

This is the starting point of the CourseFluent curriculum. It assumes no technical background at all - if you can write an email, you can take this course.

Who it's for: Every employee, in every department. It is the course your whole team takes first, and the baseline the rest of the curriculum builds on.

Prerequisites: none

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a technical background?

No. The course is written for non-technical staff in every department. There is no code, no math, and no jargon without a plain-language explanation.

What do lessons look like?

Short interactive pages, not videos or walls of text. Lessons mix visual explainers, hands-on exercises, and quick knowledge checks, and an AI tutor on every page can answer questions about the material in the context of your business.

Is there an exam or certificate?

Yes. Each module ends with an exam (70% to pass), and completing the course earns a certificate your business can use for training and compliance records.

How long does it take?

It is fully self-paced. Lessons are deliberately short so they fit between meetings, and progress is saved automatically so learners can pick up where they left off.

Why start here instead of a tools course?

Because tools change and fundamentals don't. Once your team shares the same mental model of what AI is and where it fails, every tool they pick up afterwards makes sense faster - and gets used more safely.
